Places and Districts
Caldera is a new town, just north of Balmora. It was built to provide services and homes to miners that mine the ebony mines close to Caldera. The town is ruled largely from the Caldera Mining Company's fortress to the north-east. Strangely enough, you rarely find any Dunmer in Caldera. A lot of Orcs can be found in Ghorak Manor, which is on the east side of town. The manor is always in chaos, and you can steal from here without getting in trouble.
When you first enter the town, from its main entrance, the first thing that you will notice is that the town is an imperial owned place. The closest building when you enter is Ghorak Manor, where a lot of Orcs live. Here is where you can find Creeper, the Orcs' pet. Creeper is a scamp that you can sell a lot of stuff to, and he has 5000 gold. Besides that you can find a pawnbroker to sell all of your miscellaneous items to. Also, there is the local tavern (Shenk's Shovel) where you can rent beds and buy food. Nearby is a clothier, that is one of the only Imperial-class clothiers in Vvardenfell. The Mages guild is the only guild in Caldera. The local trader in Caldera is the fourth richest trader in all of Vvardenfell. Caldera also has an Imperial Cult alter, where the people in town can have religion.

Duma gro-Lag - An orc in Ghorak Manor that is involved in a Daedric quest.
Emelia Duronia- The guild guide in the Caldera Mages Guild.
Creeper - An easter egg. This scamp has 5000 gold and will buy almost anything from you. Also, this scamp will buy anything for full price regardless of your mercantile skill. You can also haggle a bit with him. This scamp is one of the main reasons to stop by Caldera.
